I’m cheating a little:
I missed “F” on Saturday in the #AtoZChallenge, and today is not supposed to be a letter day according to the official calendar, but this week is a theme day for Sinful Sunday, and it just happens that the theme is the letter G, so… long story short, I’m doing my G post for the #AtoZChallenge on Sunday instead of Monday.
There’s a perfectly valid reason I missed Saturday – I was with Adam all day and Viper all night; consciously choosing to spend less time with both makes the time I do spend with them very focused – on being present with them, on paying attention to how we spend our time, whether it’s spent curled up napping on the couch with the dog, or playing a game of Pass the Pigs in which points = whacks with the implement of the winner’s choice. (I believe I topped out at 100 with the paddle. But I got some in on him too!)
In any case. I had meant to be out on a coddiwomple with Allan today, with the express purpose of finding some green grass to fulfill the theme, but tummy troubles had me down for most of the day, so I have nothing new to share. Instead I went into the archives and found these pictures from a day with W in the woods. Spring has just started to do its thing here, but seeing the lovely deep greens of a Missouri woods in the summer fills me with longing for it hurry up already! I need to be outside naked in the woods again…
I would like recreate the ones at the stream without rope, actually. The rope was lots of fun, and definitely W’s thing, but wouldn’t it be fun to just be a wood nymph? I may have to rent the little cabin we stayed at again and ask Allan up for some picture fun. I wonder if it’s still as secluded as it was?
